Robert (Bob) Schartow is a graduate of The University of Michigan in Mechanical Engineering and Business and continues to enjoy a diverse and successful career. Bob has been a change agent improving KPI’s and moving new products into market helping countless organizations across different fields. His experience includes business development, revenue generation, lean manufacturing, strategic planning, engineering, patent development, coaching teams, and often serves a keynote speaker. His creativity, energy, and enthusiasm provide great inspiration for his teams, always leading by example never hesitating to roll up his sleeves.
He has served in a variety of engineering and sales roles including Vice President at FlexSys, Inc., Ann Arbor, MI; General & Operations Manager at Indy Composite Works, Inc. Indianapolis, IN; Plant Manager at AvL Technologies Inc., Asheville, NC; Business Unit Manager at 3TEX, Inc., Cary, NC; Automotive Business Unit Manager at Buehler Inc., Cary, NC; Senior Account Manager at Eaton Technologies, Inc., Ann Arbor, MI; and Eastern Regional Manager at Symplex Communications Corp, Ann Arbor, MI.
Bob was inducted into Vulcans Engineering Society while at The University of Michigan, served as Vice President of the Univ Activities Center, President of the U-Cellar Bookstore, Equipment Manager for the Michigan Marching Band, co-founder of the Crisler Concert, assisted with MMB Band Camps, and provided creative and technical leadership for MMB Video. Bob worked his way through his school including a co-op with Ford Motor Co, late night work at an injection molding company, and founded a local limousine service. Bob has made volunteering for nonprofits a big part of his life. From his work with his church and other local charities, bob has always been a cheerful worker and volunteer.
